Because I smelled Spring in the air today! Or just a giant wiff of pollen. I'm surprised I didn't start hacking and coughing.
I can't wait until this tree I love starts getting its leaves back though...it just makes walking to my car so much more enjoyable.
I'm so stressed out over work. Today they hinted to us that we may all be laid off very soon. God, I hope so.
Last night I had to do my presentation. My teacher, Castleberry Backman, said we were outstanding....which is awesome since in reality we kind of half-assed it and didn't even get together until just before class.
My part in the skit we had to do was to be the drunk person who refused to accept new knowledge. And at the end of the play, my character still refused it and got up and left the room to go to a bar. I'm so happy I got to play that part...it would've made Amber proud..
Then tonight I had to deal with my memoir class. Bah. I had to hand out my chapter to everyone to read for next time. It felt awkward handing out a part of my book...I was so invested in that thing and to give out a part of my baby, which has been altered to fit the requirements...bah. I just hope people like it.. I am also being forced to enter a stupid contest against my will. The contest is for the Virgina Tech Massacre 1 year anniversary. Because the murderer was an English/Creative Writing major, we're sponsoring an event to say "sorry." WTF I didn't do shit. He was crazy! We have to write stories, poems etc about a time in our life where we felt silenced or like a question mark because he called himself the Question Mark Kid. Totally wrong am I right? she's fucking glorifying this guy but doing this contest. She even put a picture of him on the flier. ICK.

| The Lack of TV is starting to get to me |

I bought Weeds Season 2 & Reno 911 Season 4 last night from amazon. Good deals...
Then today I bid on Dead Like Me Seasons 1 & 2, Gargoyles and Are You Being Served (the latter two are REALLY cheap, otherwise I wouldn't have bid).
V also got a season of South Park.
I'm just so tired of watching the same shit over and over. Our Reno's, South Park, Simpsons, Weeds, Futuramas, Family Guys and Sex & The City's (and even Friends randomly) are getting a little old after the millionth times.
Can anyone reccommend some shows I can rent from Netflix maybe? I'm not a big fan of reality tv. And I tried to get into Dexter but it didn't do anything for me. Sopranos & Six Feet Under aren't really my thing either. |

Yea, so I'm in the same boat as Hillary except Sunday is also dead to me.
So I'll be 21 on Friday. I'm not all that excited about it really. Well not enough anyway. I hate being another year older and still having nothing to show for it. And now I have to deal with people always asking me to buy them alcohol. boo. oh yea and now if there is ever a draft, i'll be in the first category to go! |

The gym kicked my ass last night.
my american lit teacher is a douche bag, I should've stuck with my first impression of him. But I figured the first time I had his class that I was probably just cranky from being tired..apparently not. He basically had a temper tantrum in class today because the entire class did the homework assignment wrong..because he didn't even remotely tell us what to do..the instructions were "write about this analytically." Which could mean a number of things. How vague could you be? It was so ridiculous, he even mimicked hanging himself. So now we all have to redo it and I have to research Bible passages for it..ew. Reading the Bible should not be a requirement. He is the equivalent of having an irritating, neurotic cartoon character teaching English.
I don't mind my modern drama class and I like my editing/publishing class. Shakespeare is boring but I guess tolerable.
Well off to Santa Rosa tonight with Hillary and then going to Bobby & Samantha's engagement party in Fairfield tomorrow night with Jenna & Hillary. I'm happy Jenna is going now.
I'm also happy I have Hillary to diet and exercise with because if I was doing it alone, I don't know if I could stick with it. |
